Google’s New Penguin Algorithm Hurts Marijuana Activists News
By: Kaptain Kush
How many besides me, are upset with Google’s new Penguin algorithm, released on April 24, 2012. While having access to information worldwide is critical to the circulation of marijuana news, all of the norml websites that I have grown used to being able to find, with a simple question, “marijuana news” have now gone missing. In their place we find a bunch of tertiary blogs, or big, major news corporations that holds no content for daily marijuana new, for which I look.
While Google made this change to their algorithm in the attempt to quell spam and boost revenue for their “pay per click” campaigns. Google in their “Do No Harm” is standing on the throats of 90% of the independent medical marijuana news organizations, that we rely upon in order to get our word out.
